Alright, you’ve made it this far and we’re at the point where you’re ready to start outlining your course content! How exciting is that? Honestly, I just want to take a second to honor the hard work you’ve already put in and the commitment you’re showing. This is HUGE, and you should be proud of yourself.

In this lesson, we’re going to dive into the process of outlining your course and how to structure it for success. Some of you might be going step by step, while others may be skipping around, and that’s perfectly okay! If you’ve already done your snippet video from the brainstorming lesson, I’m giving you a virtual high-five right now... seriously, you’re crushing it. And if you haven’t, no worries, you can always go back and do that when you’re ready. The important thing is that you’re here, ready to keep moving forward.

What We Cover:

• Course Length: How long should your course be? Consider the content and, most importantly, your audience. Do they have the time to sit through a 10-hour course, or would something shorter be more accessible?

• Chunking Your Content: Break down your course into manageable sections. Whether you jot it down on paper or organize it digitally, it’s all about finding a flow that works for you.

• Choosing a Platform: Think about the platform that will best suit your needs. I’ve tried and used so many (Thinkific, Kajabi, Systeme.io, Memberpress, Shopify) and each has its pros and cons. Explore the options, but don’t get stuck here... pick one and keep moving! There are even a few that offer free trials so you can test it out and see how you like them.

Action Plan:

• Decide on Your Course Length: Write down how long you want your course to be. Start thinking about what feels manageable for your audience and the topic you’re covering.

• Outline Your Content: Break your course into sections or modules. You don’t need to have it all figured out, just start with a rough sketch of the structure.

• Research Platforms: Spend some time researching platforms like Kajabi, Teachable, or Thinkific. Write down which ones catch your eye and note the features that matter to you.
